Wizards Beyond Waverly Place Season 2 Renewed, David Henrie Issues Statement

Disney brand TV officially announced A magician beyond Waverly The Fantasy sitcom season 2 renewal offers a spin-off to the fan’s favorite Show Wizard of Waverly Place. Original stars David Henry and Selena Gomez are both executive produced, and Henry is also part of the main cast of the new show.

According to Disney, the first episode of Wizards Bion Waverly Place attracted 3.2 million viewers in its first 12 days and won Disney+ in the most watched series premiere on the Disney Channel. More than a month after Season 1 finished running for 21 episodes, the spinoff earned an 89% tomatometer rating on rotten tomatoes.

Wizards Beyond Waverly Place is written in an executive produced by Jed Elinoff and Scott Thomas. In addition to Henry, the series also stars Janice Lean Brown as Billy, Alcaio Thierre as Roman Russo, Max Matenco as Milo Russo, Taylor Cora in Winter, and Mimi Gianopoulos as Giada Russo. In the first and final episodes of season 1, Gomez appeared in a guest star, where he recreated a fan’s favorite role as Alex Russo. Production for Season 2 is expected to begin in Los Angeles next month.
