When Calls the Heart Season 13 Renewed at Hallmark

Hallmark Channel updated its Western drama TV series When calling your heart For season 13. When Hart debuted at Hallmark on January 11, 2014, based on a book of the same name in Janet Oak’s Canadian West series, created by Michael Landon Jr. & Brian Bird. The series began airing in Canada in 2014.

Calls the Heart Season 13 was green light on Hallmark Media. The previous season debuted on January 5th, 2025 and aired 12 episodes before closing on March 23rd, 2025. While the finale was airing, Hallmark disclosed its decision.

Samantha Dipippo, senior vice president of programming at Hallmark Media, called fans who called Hart a “connected community” in a statement. “Hart is more than a fanbase. They’re a connected community that’s as loyal and supportive as the characters in Hope Valley,” DiPippo said. “It’s an honor to tell a story of hope, resilience, humor and romance that continues to resonate with millions of viewers since the 12th season” (via TVLine)

Actress Erin Krakow, who portrays the series’ main character, Elizabeth Thatcher, on the show, took her to X (formerly Twitter) to thank her fans. “Thank you for watching and tweeting throughout the season #hearties! We’re excited to be back at S13! We’d like to thank #PeterDeluise for directing tonight’s episode and #LindSaySturman for writing it,” she shared.

When Cole was set primarily in the early 1900s. Elizabeth Thatcher is a teacher whose first classroom assignment takes her to the fictional town of Coal Valley (later Hope Valley). The series explores Elizabeth slowly developing with the people of her new home, the complicated outlook that townspeople have in coal mining, how tragic mining incidents shape their lives, and whether they still insist on holding on to their hopes and dreams.

The cast includes Martin Cummins as Henry Gowen, Pascare Hutton as Rosemary, Kevin McGarry as Nathan Grant, and Chris McNally as Lucas Bouchard.

Heart Season 13 Cole debuted on Hallmark Channel in 2026, and will debut on Hallmark+ a day later.
