In the past, Morgan has struggled with multiple health issues in 2014, including alcoholism, diabetes and car accidents. The actor was diagnosed with diabetes in 1996 and received a kidney transplant in 2010.

In an Instagram post shared on March 18, 2025, Morgan revealed that he had thrown it out of food poisoning at the Knicks Game.
“Thank you for worrying!” Morgan captioned a photo of herself lying in a hospital bed. “I’m fine now and the doctor says it’s food poisoning.”
The comedian then thanked the workers at Madison Square Garden for their assistance. He added to the caption.Thank you to my MSG family for taking care of me like that. I need to scream at the crew who had to clean it up. thank you! ”
