News about Braxton and Birdman’s marriage recently sparked a wave following the announcement of the “Un-Break My Heart” singer’s divorce filing. Braxton said it tied the knot on the longtime Beau on August 8, 2024 and listed the separation date on August 10, 2024.

The shocking details continued as Braxton claimed that his short union with Birdman was “irreparably broken.” She filed for divorce two weeks after their wedding, but Birdman seemed to have used it wisely the following month to persuade his wife to give another shot in the marriage.

Braxton rejected the divorce petition in January 2025, and Birdman signed the contract, as TMZ revealed. It is unclear whether the pair are currently happily married. But there’s nothing new about the couple’s romantic history.

Eight months before his modest wedding with Birdman, Braxton declared that their relationship had returned to Platonic after a failed engagement and a private breakup. She dropped a bomb on Instagram in December 2023, rebutting fans’ claims about her relationship with the rapper.
