Jason Momoa is ready for the world to accept him as DCU Robo.
Momoa was cast as Lobo in Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow. Momoa previously played Aquaman/Arthur Curry in the DCEU, but the character’s first appearance was in Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Momoa, who appeared in a recent episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, said at first she thought she was going to play Robo at the DCEU.
“I have all the Robo Comics,” he said. “He was my favorite.
Momoa said she was “shocked” to find out he was cast as Aquaman. Kimmel pointed out how similar he is to Robo, saying, “I love riding bikes, smoking cigars, and Guinness.”
Additionally, Momoa confirmed that he was still filming the scenes for Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow. Production of DCU film officially began in January 2024, and the film currently has a release date of June 26, 2026.
With Momoa from Supergirl: The Woman of Tomorrow stars Millie Alcock as Kara Zorr El/Supergirl, Matthias Schoenart as Clem in Yellow Hills, Eve Ridley as Eve Ridley, David Krumholtz as Zorr El and Emily Beacham as Supergirl’s mother.
The script comes from Anano Gira, so the film is based on the DC miniseries of Tom King and Bilkis Ivery released in 2021 and 2022. The comic’s storyline travels across the Galaxy with Luchie when he happens to see Kara celebrating his 21st birthday and commits a crime to cause harm during Kyurem.
