Apple TV+ has officially joined three new series regulars. sugar Season 2 will be cast in the upcoming article in the Neo-Noir Mystery Drama series, led by Oscar-nominee Colin Farrell. This comes nearly a year after the show concluded its first season of eight episodes.
“This series is a contemporary and unique take, one of the most popular and important genres in literature, film, television history, and private detective stories,” reads Season 2’s Logline. “After the season 1 events, Season 2 will see Sugar take over another missing person case as he returns to Los Angeles and continues to search for answers surrounding the missing sister.”
Who is participating in the Sugar Season 2 cast?
Shea Whigham (Mission: Impossible – Final Calculation), Sasha Calle (The Flash), and Raymond Lee (Quantum Leap) are tapped to play a recurring role in the series in Sugar Season 2. Calle, meanwhile, is set to play a hustler who works for the honorable character. As for Lee, details about his character are still wrapped. They join previously announced new cast members Jinha, Laura Donnelly and Tony Dalton.
The show is created by Mark Protocevic, executive producers of Farrell, Scott Greenberg and Chip Vuselich. The next article will be produced by showrunner Sam Catlin through his short drive entertainment banner, as well as Audrey Chung and Simon Kinberg for genre films.
