On the 14th day at the theatre, Street 2 recorded an estimated net collection of around $113,000. This picture marks the minimum one-day collection of films since it was released on August 15th. Despite this dip, the numbers beat another record, reflecting the film’s strong performance.

Horror comedy sequels regularly set new benchmarks. Now it has achieved yet another milestone by surpassing the domestic collection of the hit Baahubali: The Beginning.

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the Street 2 domestic collection now reaches around $50.5 million. In other words, it outweighs Baahubali: the previous $50.1 million record of the beginning. This impressive feat secured Street 2 as the ninth highest growing Indian film. Overall, the film has proven to be a Juggernaut, surpassing other major releases such as Vedaa and Khel Khel Mein. Even after two weeks, Street 2 continues to offer robust numbers.

Globally, the film surpassed the $71.5 million mark earlier this week. The film is experiencing a natural decline in the collection, but is expected to have a strong finish in the third weekend. The forecast suggests that the club will be able to join the $59.5 million club by Monday, solidifying its position as a major box office.

Looking ahead, Street 2 is poised to break more records, with no major new releases expected to affect its performance. The film could potentially be the second-highest glosser ever. The next goal is Jawan’s lifetime record, a staggering $69.5 million. If the film continues its current trajectory, it could also push the record down in the coming weeks.
