Sinners Box Office Predictions Eye Big Launch for Michael B. Jordan Horror Movie

Predictions for box office revenue for sinners Ills Ills is the upcoming horror film of Michael B. Jordan and Ryan Coogler, with Easter Weekend’s release looking at a big launch.

What is the prediction of the box office revenue for a sinner?

According to a recent number report from Deadline, Sinners tracks opening for just over $40 million when it debuted on April 18, 2025. The numbers project a higher debut than films like 2024 Alien: Romulus ($42 million) and the recently released Bong Jooon Ho Movie Movie Micke Mickey 17.

Deadline’s report points out that some tracking models have films in areas lower than $30 million instead, but it could be climbed as the film’s official marketing push is expected to begin until early April.

Along with Jordan, the cast of Sinners includes Hailee Steinfeld (True Grit, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse), Jack O’Connell (Ferrari, Back to Black), Wunmi Mosaku (Lovecraft Country, Loki), Jayme Lawson (The Penguin, The Woman King), Omar Benson Miller (CSI: Miami, Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle), and Delroy Lind (da 5 blood, so much so that they collapse).

Coogler is making films alongside Seph O’Hanian and Jinji Coogler. Ludwig Göransson, Will Greenfield, and Rebecca Cho are executive producers.

Coogler made his feature film directorial debut at Fruitsvale Station in 2013. He chased it in 2015 at Creed before heading to the MCU in 2018 to make a Black Panther. Jordan has appeared in all three of these films. In 2022, Coogler made a sequel to Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. He has also produced projects such as Judas and the Black Messiah in 2021, Space Jam in 2021: New Heritage and Creed III in 2023.

This will be Jordan’s first film since Creed III, which he directed. He has also appeared in films such as Chronicle in 2012, Fantastic Four in 2015, Mercy in 2019, and Journal for Jordan in 2021.
