Queen Woo K-Drama on TVING: Release Date, Cast, Plot & More

Historical Action K-Drama Queen Woo It will premiere this week in Part 1 of Tving. The long-awaited series will see veteran actors ji Chang-wook Gogukcheon from Go Goguryeo, aka Go Nam-Mu. Also stars an actress who can’t do weddings Jeon Jong-seodepicts the role of Woo Hee, aka Queen of Goguryeo.

Jung Se-Kyo directed the upcoming Korean series written by Lee Byeong-Hak. He previously wrote the 2020 movie OH! My Gran served as assistant director for several other notable films like War of Arrows, Perfect Game, Goodbye Mama, Father Like Son.

Queen Woo K Drama: Tving Release Date

Tving recently posted a preview trailer for Queen Woo on Instagram, revealing the release dates for two parts of the drama on its streaming platform. Part 1 of the historic K-drama is Thursday, August 29th, 2024. The second part of the series is scheduled to debut September 12th On the same network.

The preview gives you a glimpse into the fierce war in which King Goguryo of Goguryo motivates soldiers just before the battle. As seen in the trailer, the horrifying conflicts on both sides result in bloodshed and many losses of life. For viewers who love historic dramas with violence, Queen Wu serves as the perfect cure to satisfy their tastes.

Queen Woo K Drama: Cast & Plot

As mentioned earlier, actor Ji Chang Wook plays Go Nam-Mu, one of his main roles in Queen Woo. In addition to being the king of Goguryeo, he is renowned for his strong mind and incredible combat skills. He is married to Queen u of Goguryeo. Meanwhile, viewers will see actress John Jongse portraying Gogurio’s Queen U (aka Win). She is known for her intelligence and beauty.

Apart from those, the upcoming K-Drama main cast list also includes Kim Mu-Yeol from Eul Pa-So, Jeong Yu-Mi from Woo Sun, Park Ji-Hwan from Mugol and Lee Soo-Hyuk as Go Bal-Gi. The supporting cast for the series consists of Jeon Bae-Soo, Kim Do-Yoon, Jo Han-Chul, Lee Haewoo, Jung Jae-kwang, Kang Young-Seok, Song Jae-Rim and others.

Queen Wu records the fascinating and epic tale of Queen U. The crisis continues after the sudden end of Uhee’s husband, King Gogurio. Furthermore, the Queen must act immediately to stop the mayhem.
