Santa Fe County Sheriff first shared that the couple may have spent “days” before the bodies were found

When she appeared on the “Today” episode on Friday morning, February 28th, Sheriff Adan Mendoza, a Santa Fe County, New Mexico, shared information about Hackman and Arakawa’s deaths.
Mendoza said the timeline between when they die and when their bodies were discovered could possibly be days or even weeks.
