John Moxley defended his AEW World Championship AEW RevolutionDefeat the former TNT champion I’ll deal with it. Since winning the title from Brian Danielson, Moxley and his faction, Deathrider, dominated the AEW roster, causing chaos at every turn.
At AEW Worlds End, Cope boldly returned from his injury, facing Moxley and aiming for the championship. Determined to undermine Moxley’s support system, Cope systematically took over PAC, Claudio Castagnoli and Marina Shafir, leaving the champions without major allies.
Last week, with AEW Dynamite, Cope successfully eliminated most of Moxley’s faction members, but escaped Wheeler Yuta, the youngest member of the Death Riders. After their match, Coop showed respect for Utah, causing a tense conflict between Moxley and Utah, further escalating tensions within the faction.
Despite the Death Rider fighting on his side, Moxley overcomes the odds and maintains the world championship in the chaotic main event in the AEW Revolution.
John Moxley survives chaos in AEW Revolution 2025
Chaos exploded at the final moments of the match as COPE came within inches of winning the AEW World Championship. After delivering two devastating spears to John Moxley, Coop went to Pin, but the hooded figure suddenly pulled the referee out of the ring.
The mystery attacker revealed himself as a Christian cage. Instead, Cage shocked everyone by announcing that he was cashing out his AEW World Championship opportunities. Back at Aew All In, Cage won a casino gauntlet match and earned the right to challenge the title at the time he chose.
Cage’s sudden cash-in transformed the match into a triple threat showdown at the AEW World Championships. Wasting time, Cage tightened his spear and hit him with the kill switch for the pin. However, Moxley plunges into the bulldog choke and locks the cage.
