James Gunn revealed whether it’s a new animation Starfire The TV show will be part of DCU Canon.
Gunn and Peter Saffron’s DCU officially kicked off this December with the animated Creature Commandos series. After DCU, Gunn’s Superman will be released in July this year, but Peacemaker Season 2 will be premiered on Max the following month.
Last month, DC Studios and Warner Bros. Animation announced that the production is being held by a “young” animation series following the beloved teenage Titan character Starfire, created by Marv Wolfman and George Pérez. No premier dates have been set yet.
Is the new Starfire Show part of DCU Canon?
In the thread, Gunn was asked if Starfire is part of DCU, Elseworlds, or if it is currently undecided.
“Starfire is another world, and like most of our family’s animation shows,” Gunn replied.
It’s worth noting that Starfire made a short, unspeakable cameo with creature commands. However, what these potential plans are has not been revealed.
Josie Campbell is executive producer of the new Star Fire Show, while Briandraward is co-producer.
“The show continues her adventure after using an ancient spaceship she discovered to escape the planet on Tamaran’s hometown planet and explore the stars.” “Along the way, she meets Space Biker Crash, Plant-loving Fern, and Gemworld’s magical princess Amethyst, and together, she uncovers the deepest range of the DC Universe, saves Space Dolphins, saves Surf Technicolor Nebra, and boldly soars into the unknown.”
When they unveiled Stafire, DC Studios and Warner Bros. Animation also announced two other two animation shows: My Adventures by Green Lantern and DC Super Powers.
