Jack White and Bill Murray found themselves sitting next to each other during a baseball game held in Tokyo on March 18th.
As White said on Instagram, they both took part in the first game of the Tokyo series featuring the Chicago Cubs with the Los Angeles Dodgers. On top of that coincidence, Cubs Superfan Eddie Vedder presented White with a vintage jersey before the match.

In the caption in the photo gallery, White gushed out: Do you know about that game? “White shared a photo of the duo on his Instagram, photographed by bandmate Dominic John Davis.
White also had daughter Scarlett and wife Olivia Jean in the game.
Unfortunately, White and Murray’s presence wasn’t enough to secure the Cubs’ victory over last year’s World Series champions. They lost to the Dodgers 4-1 in their first game, starting the 2025 regular season with a 0-2 record after a 6-3 loss today.
White’s trip to Japan may be planned around watching the Cubs play the Dodgers, but he also did a show in Tokyo. One of these concerts even featured a surprising appearance from Vedder, during which they tore the cover of Neil Young’s “Rockin” free world.
The legs of White’s “No Name Tour” in North American will begin in early April, with limited $20 student tickets available for purchase in person on each show day.
