The lawsuit, launched in 2021, centers on allegations that Brian, as CEO of Rosstrane LLC, failed to pay Moore the $60,000 he donated to the production of the film “Warning.”

Moore claimed that he promised a return on investment plus a percentage of interest and film profits of $12,000, and that Brian personally guarantees repayment. Moore reportedly fulfilled a portion of his contract and released the film on October 22, 2021, but he reportedly received no compensation.

After multiple attempts to resolve the issue failed, Moore asked for legal replies, leading to a default decision against Brian in April 2023 when he failed to respond to the case. To contact, the court awarded Moore $108,940.67.

A few months after the verdict against Brian, Cameron had a conversation with the actor in 2023. Meanwhile, he admitted the debt, but he cited it as “broken” and insisted he was unable to pay.

He said he is earning income as an independent contractor who supports his father’s property management and real estate concerns and receives various royalties from SAG-AFTRA for his previous screen appearances.

Additionally, the actor showed that he owed a significant amount from several business associates. In light of this, Cameron asked the court to issue an order allowing the court to seize all royalties paid to the actor until the $108,000 debt is fully paid back.

Brian was arrested in January on a charge of second-degree domestic violence in South Carolina, but he was soon released from a prison where he was held. According to details from The Blast, he allegedly punched the woman multiple times and threatened to kill her.

On January 1st, just before 7pm, officers answered a call in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where they told a woman who reported that Brian had assaulted her.

She claimed he punched her multiple times on the left side of her face, wrapping her arms around her neck to suffocate her.

The victim also claimed that Brian threatened to kill her. Officials noted that her injuries matched her description of the incident, saying she shared a child with him.

The actor was originally held at the Holly County Jail on a $10,000 bond and was released Friday around 8pm. His mug shot revealed visible injuries, including cuts in his chin, lips and cheeks, as well as a red mark on his forehead.

This incident was not Brian’s first encounter with domestic violence laws. In 2020 he was arrested in Oregon after allegedly strangled his girlfriend at the time.

He was convicted of two misdemeanors related to domestic violence and was sentenced to three years of probation. To his surprise, he later became engaged to Johnny Faye Cartwright, a woman he had harmed, and shared three children.

In July 2023, Brian faced further legal challenges when he was again imprisoned in Oregon on domestic violence charges. His charges included fourth-degree felony assault, third-degree robbery and misdemeanor harassment. He was guilty of a felony assault and was sentenced to seven days in prison.

When Brian’s legal issues began in 2023, former co-star Tim Allen, who portrayed his father in “Home Improvement,” expressed his concern.

Allen pointed out that Brian feels detached from the man, saying, “At one point, he deviated from the man I know.” He acknowledged the complexity of Brian’s situation and admitted that “you just don’t know” how and why people change.

Allen saw Brian as an extraordinary child who matured into a complex adult. He emphasized the importance of allowing individuals to navigate their journeys and chose to step aside to address his challenges.

In another conversation, his former partner Cartwright worked on Brian’s arrest on suspicion of domestic violence. She expressed concern that the trauma is likely to be misunderstood in the situation and stated, “They are the ones who are not accused of the situation,” she said.
