In an interview with the Hollywood Reporter as part of Major’s story, Jordan, who appeared in all of the Creed films and directed the previous article, said he “love” to create the fourth creed with Major, and told him he had done all the legal matters that Major needed to move and grow.

“He was arrested. He went to court. He did what he should have. I don’t know what else there is,” Jordan said. “I want to have Creed IV together. Among other projects, I know and know him as someone who is constantly striving to improve him as a human, human, actor. I believe in him.”

Comments are expected to be released on March 21, 2025 by Majors’ next film, “Magazine Dreams.” The film was once reported as a nominee for the award in 2023, but was removed from the original release schedule following Major’s arrest and legal issues.

In 2023, Major was convicted of three counts of attacks and second-degree harassment. These stem from the 2023 incident in which the Major hit his then-girlfriend, Grace Jabari. He further grabbed her by the hands and neck and said, “It caused bruises and quite a bit of pain.”

As a result of his conviction, Major was sentenced to having to participate in a 52-week domestic violence intervention program and probation.

Major talks about growth and change following legal issues, but not everyone is ready to believe it. Maura Hooper was one of two women who made pretrial statements to prosecutors in Major’s case against Jabbari, and told THR that Major’s claims to be emotionally abusive to her she really doesn’t see Major’s path to redemption.

“I don’t care if his film comes out,” Hooper said. “What do you get at the end of the 52-week domestic violence course? Will the victim get a report? How can you know if he has changed? We don’t see redness happening here.”
