Chaos Erupts At Gal Gadot’s Walk of Fame Event As Protesters Crash Family-Filled Celebration

During her speech, Gadot reflected in balancing her successful career with motherhood.

“Every time my success grew, I was always pregnant. I had to ground myself, and that’s what I say to my agent,” she joked. “It’s either I’m making movies, I’m making babies, I’m not making babies anymore. But Jaron always reminded me to dream and to be free to do whatever I want.”

Protesters gathered outside the event and provided signs that read, “The Heroes fight like Palestinians” and “Viva Viva Palestine.” Meanwhile, pro-Israel demonstrators were also present, leading to a fierce exchange.

At one point, police are seen chasing protesters accused of stealing Israeli flags, and footage pinning individuals to the wall as crowds erupt in mixed chaos.

Gadot, who serves the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) and has support for Israel, has not publicly acknowledged the outside confusion. However, her co-star in Snow White Rachel Zeglerwho had previously expressed support for Palestine, had not been significantly present for the event, spurring speculation about the rift between the two actresses.

Recent reports suggest tensions between Gadot and Zegler over their different political views. Zegler speaks openly in her defense of Palestinian aid, frequently posting about Gaza’s humanitarian crisis, calling for “free Palestine.”

She also shared the “Snow White” trailer on social media and thanked fans for their support before adding “Free Palestine.”

Gadot has not responded directly to Zegler’s comments, but posting a quote from Martin Luther King Jr. has subtly overwhelmed her.

The disparity in rumors among co-stars has led to debate within the Snow White fandom, with some audiences seeking a boycott of Gadot’s involvement arguing that casting Jewish and Israeli actresses in the role of the evil queen is an insensitive choice given the current geopolitical tension.

In a recent interview with VarietyGadot explained on October 7, 2023 why he felt forced to make a statement following the Hamas-led attack on Israel.

“I don’t talk about politics, because do you care about people who are talking about politics? I’m an artist. I want to entertain people. I want to have hope whenever I say anything about the world and be a beacon of light,” she said.

“But on October 7th, when people were accused of from their homes, from beds, men, women, children, seniors, Holocaust survivors, and I was unable to remain silent as I experienced the fear of what had happened that day.”

Her family history, including multiple generations of Holocaust survivors and Israeli people, emphasized that her defense is rooted in humanitarian concerns rather than political divisions. “I felt like I had to defend the hostages, and I wish them a better day for everyone,” she said.

The live-action Snow White remake already faces backlash, from criticism of the modernized storyline to casting controversy. With the film set up for release soon, the rumored tension between Gadot and Zegler just adds fuel to the fire.

As for Gadot, she focuses on her work, her family, and her growing list of admiration, including her newly created Hollywood Walk of Famestar. But given her intense protests at the ceremony, it is clear that even her biggest career moments are not without controversy.
