bone Stars Emily Deschanel and Cara Gallo have revealed the possibility of returning for a potential return to the hit procedural drama that ended their 12 seasons of run at Fox in 2017.
The original show series was created and produced by Hart Hanson. It follows the story of a female forensic andro-oncologist with impressive ability to read cues from the victim’s bones. For this reason, law enforcement often joins her services to assist in investigating if the body is disassembled, burned or destroyed so badly, as standard identification methods are not useful.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer veterinarian David Boreanaz also led the cast as FBI special agent Sealy Booth. Since debuting in 2005, the series has maintained a 90% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
Emily Deschanel returns to revive potential bones
In a recent interview, Deschanel and Gallo discussed the possibility of a bone revival and admitted that they have already had conversations with other cast members. But that’s not really up to them, but if given the opportunity, Deschanel, Gallo, and TJ Thyne want to replicate their respective roles in a potential reboot.
“People talk about the possibility of rebooting the show in some way,” Deschanel said. “This year marks the 20th anniversary, so it would be fun to do something for that, but I don’t know. I’m not in charge of that, but I’m down for it.”

“I’ll keep it up! We had TJ (Thyne, who played Jack Hodgins) for that premium content. “It definitely got closer. I’m eager. When, when is this? When are you doing this? When are you doing this?”
She continued. “We have that kind of love. When you’re talking to (Bones Creator) Hart Hanson (producer) Barry Josephson, it’s a deep investment in this show, everyone makes it. Everyone is missing out on that.”
