Hollywood lost another beloved star, Val Kilmertwo years after one of my favourite TV personalities, Matthew Perrydead.
Kilmer took his final breath on Tuesday, April 1st at 65, and Perry passed away on October 28th, 2023 at 54. These celebrities died in a variety of circumstances, but there was a creepy connection to their ultimate social media activities.
Plus, Val Kilmer and Matthew Perry’s final Instagram posts have become a mourning spot for heartbreaking fans.

Val Kilmer flaunted his artistic side on his last day

Kilmer was a man of many talent before his death, gaining fame as an actor in the plays and films. In addition to his television career, entertainers have made waves as an artist, showing off his work on his eponymous website and social media.
The “Top Gun: Maverick” star flaunted two of his latest artwork on Instagram before he passed away. First shared on March 16th, it featured a colorful abstract painting in a blend of pink, blue and black shades. The visually striking work created a rather sad feeling of fiery, rather sadness with its bold colours.

The painting features a dark amorphous shape at the bottom, from which bursts of shades of blue and pink come out. The image was set on a purple background with Kilmer’s signature visible in the lower right corner written in red paint. He promoted and wrote the picture liquor in the caption:
“There’s Power Cord Loud, an untouched, unforgettable Artham. If this will mark the right note for you, grab one of the 10 available.”
The second artwork featured similar abstract paintings depicting what looked like a campfire. Kilmer captioned his March 22nd post:
“It has that late-night glow. It’s a cool tone with less burns, like when the campfire is cold, but you’re still awake. Signed with 12’x20′ plexiglass and ready to be hung. Valkilmer.com.”

The “Top Gun” star embodied his “Batman” character five weeks ago
Kilmer flaunted his artwork in March, but Perry’s creepy connection to his final social media activity comes from another post. On February 23rd, the 1995 Batman Forever star gave fans a last glimpse of the iconic character in a joint Instagram post with world-renowned artist David Cho.
The clip captured him with Cho along with a painting of Batman, perhaps made by a well-known artist. “I’m ready. We have an angle. It’s been a while,” Kilmer said, wearing a black and white Batman mask. He brought the camera closer to show off his appearance, and Cho assured him the fit of the mask.
In this post, Cho’s love for Batman has featured several Batman paintings and a video that looks like a young artist embodying the beloved Vigilante hero playing with Batman toys.

Kilmer wasn’t alone in his love for the DC character, and Perry praised the hero in his last Instagram post.

Matthew Perry called himself “Mattman” a few days before his death.
The last time Kilmer showed his face on Instagram was when he wore a Batman mask for Cho. Similarly, Perry was physically last seen on the platform in a Batman-inspired post he shared a few days before his death on October 23, 2023.
In the post, Perry relaxed in the rooftop hot tub. He looked peaceful in the photos as music exploded through his headphones and enjoyed the night.
“Oh, does it make you feel better because the warm water swirls around? I’m Mattman.”
The post marked one of six Batman-inspired posts that the “Friend” star dropped in his last few days. The explosion covers the story and reports that Perry began updating his “Matman” after seeing Robert Pattinson’s “Batman” movie.
On the same day as the post on the hot tub, he shared a Jack-O-Lantern with the Batman symbol engraved there.

Perry’s Batman-inspired post inside
Perry’s “Matt Man” was uploaded on October 23, 2023, and includes a video of the moon. He captioned, “Do you understand what I’m trying to tell you? – I’m Mattman.” A few days before these updates, he shared a video of “The Batman” movie streaming on multiple screens from what looked like his home.
“There’s no need to worry about everyone. There’s a city tonight,” Perry captioned the post on October 17, 2023. He repeated similar feelings on October 19th, dropping a picture of Batman’s symbol and captioned, “Everyone sleep, have the city tonight – Mattman.”
In addition to Instagram, Perry flaunted his love for Batman with X. As for what influenced his “Mattman” post, sources claimed that the deceased actor “has having fun” and teased the ideas he was developing for the series.

Val Kilmer’s cause of death has been revealed

As mentioned, the Hollywood veteran took his final breath on Tuesday, April 1st, at age 65. The actor’s daughter, Mercedes Kilmer, confirmed the tragic news to sources.
Kilmer’s life, particularly his fame and the rise of personal relationships, was explored in the 2021 documentary “Val.” The entertainer’s two children had son Jack as the show’s narrator and associate producer.
The late actor began his stage career before making his film debut with the 1984 Cold War impersonation “Top Secret!”. He played a charismatic American singer in Berlin and was caught up in East Germany’s plans for unification.
Unlike the creepy connections of Val Kilmer and Matthew Perry’s final physical posts on Instagram, the latter died from the acute effects of ketamine use. May their souls rest in peace.
