E! news at that time, “For the past two months, if I haven’t written a million-dollar check, I have not been left with my future threats, lies, or tragic stories.”
Yearwood did not publicly comment on the situation, but posted an Instagram photo on October 7th, 2024. The two performed along with the caption “I love each other,” and made comments from the disabled. This raises questions about the current relationship between the couple amid the ongoing legal battle.

In the lawsuit, Jane Law allegedly sexually assaulted while on a trip to Los Angeles for a Grammy tribute performance. According to the document obtained by CNNwhich attracted attention, “When we arrived at our hotel in Los Angeles, Law couldn’t believe that Brooks had booked a hotel suite in one bedroom. It was also reported that Brooks was there when he entered his hotel room. “He appeared completely naked in the doorway to the bedroom.” She felt “confined to a room alone with Brooks.”
In response, Brooks filed a lawsuit against the accuser, claiming he was a “sharp victim of a shakedown,” according to ABC News. Brooks’ petition to dismiss the lawsuit in December 2024 was E! news.
