In the second episode of the TLC reality series “The Baldwins,” Alec’s wife, Hilaria Baldwin, revealed the “survivor’s guilt” that the actor struggles following the fatal shooting.
“The other day we found these text messages between us,” Hiralia told camera. “And (Alec) said he wanted to commit suicide.”
In her confession, she continued to say that her husband “has survivor’s guilt” after the fatal shooting. “You’re involved in this thing no one could have imagined, and he’s going back that day and hopes it’s him,” she said. “He’ll change places (with Hutchins) in a second.”

In addition to the mental health struggle, Hilaria says the “super cell” actor also experiences several physical elements, including heart problems, fainting and multiple hospitalizations.
“He’s never going to be the same,” Hilaria said in her second episode. “This has had a huge impact on his health and mental health over the past few years. Suddenly, he’s started having heart problems. He’s been hospitalized multiple times.”

He will no longer face criminal consequences for Harina Hutchins’ death, but her mother, father and sisters are still filing civil suits against the actor.
