Ryan Guzman reveals the real reason Eddie leaves 9-1-1
Guzman revealed in a recent interview with Eddie that Eddie has left Los Angeles to Texas for her son Christopher. He said, “As long as Eddie goes, Eddie has one thing in his mind. It saves him and his son’s relationship and ensures that his parents don’t go too far with it for him.”
When asked what Eddie’s relationship with Christopher would be, Guzman points out that after the former returns to Texas, there are “several breakthroughs” and that Eddie sometimes smiles at his son and talks to him. The actor said, “When he returns to Texas, he is just thinking about the ghost of his dead mother and showing that he has promised.
In particular, Christopher’s mother is Shannon Diaz. Guzman’s Eddie was deployed to Afghanistan, but came home when Christopher was born. At one point, Christopher was diagnosed with cerebral palsy.
