Peacock’s new TV and movie will be released on March 17-23, 2025, including Wicked and The First Season Finale of Happy’s Place.
March 21 brings Peacock an alternative version along with Wicked and the length of its features. The film was directed by John M. Chu. His previous credits include Now You See Me 2, The Heights and Crazy Rich Asians. Featuring Cynthia Eribo and Ariana Grande, the film is set in the fictional land of Oz. It follows Elfaba, an exiled green-skinned woman who becomes friends with her roommate, the beautiful Glinda, popular at Shizu University. However, the pair’s friendship is challenged by their fork-up paths, as the evil witch and Glinda of the West are good.
Then, March 22nd brings the Happy’s Place season 1 finale to Peacock. The comedy drama featuring Reba McEntire follows Bobby, a woman who gets her father’s eatery after his end fidd. Bobby ultimately finds out that her business partner is nothing but her estranged half sister.
Also released on Peacock this week is The Films The Invisible Man and Minions: The Rise of Gru.
The invisible man follows Cecilia. He leaves her with his good fortune. After doubting the hoax and close to some brushes of death, Cecilia tries to prove to her friends that an invisible being is hunting her.
Minion: The rise of Gru, the prequel to the sleazy Me movie, follows a young Gru, who, with the help of his minions, tries to become evil enough to join his favorite supervillain team, The Vicious 6.
