Upcoming Disney Plus K-Drama Seoul Busters: Release Date, Cast, Plot & More

Upcoming Crime Action Comedy K Drama Soul Buster Everything is set to premiere on Disney Plus soon. In particular, famous writers Lee Young Chul and Lee Gwang Jay wrote the screenplay for the series, directed by John Yong. The much-anticipated Korean drama stars Kim Dong Wook as one of the main characters, Dongban Yoo Bin.

The actor has previously played an important role in several notable K-dramas, such as my perfect stranger, deceiving, you are my spring, the king of pigs, find me in your memory, and more than a maid. Kim Dong-Wook is also part of several notable Korean films, including Trade Your Love, Hijack 1971, Three Summer Night, and The Gods: The Two Worlds. Given his versatile performance, fans are excited to see the actor play a new role in Disney Plus’s soul buster.

New Disney Plus K-Drama Seoul Busters: When is the release date?

Disney Plus recently released a poster for the comedy crime act-drama Seoul Buster on Instagram. The poster will showcase all the lead cast members of the series and reveal the release date of the drama. Future Korean series will only be streamed on Disney Plus September 11, 2024.

Soul Busters K-Drama on Disney Plus: Cast & Plot

Viewers will see Kim Dong Wook as Dongban Yoo Bin, one of the leads of the upcoming Disney Plus K drama. His character is a high-ranking police officer with a good mind, handsome looks, amazing athleticism and a very impressive academic background. However, he sometimes shows unpredictable behavior. He also has a witty sense of humor and incredible reasoning skills.

Dongbang Yoo-Bin has been offered a permanent professorship at a respected overseas university. However, he suddenly arrived in Korea and volunteered to become the second division leader of Song Won Police Station’s violent crime team. This particular team is known for being the lowest in terms of arrest performance in Korea.

Besides Kim Dong Wook, the main cast of the Seoul Busters also includes Park Ji Howan as Moon Li-Yek. The character is a veteran detective from Songwon Police Station’s Violent Crime Team Unit 2. He is also a former member of the national boxing team. Apart from him, Seo Hyunwoo is considered Jung Jung-Hwan, the lifestyle detective in Unit 2, and Park Se-Wan plays the role of Seo Min-Seo, the only female detective in the unit. Finally, the main cast includes actor Lee Seung Woo. He plays the role of Chantanshik, the youngest member of Violent Crime Team Unit 2.

K-Drama shows the story of all four members of Songwon Police Station Violent Crime Team 2 and new team leader Dongbang Yoo-Bin. They team up to become the best position in the country to the best detective unit. Therefore, audiences are taking part in an exciting new Korean drama series.
